Krystal is a tradition in my family. I have been eating there all my life as my father did and his too. It was the only fast food they would eat.
Though I am a bit nostalgic I can certainly say without doubt that we have never gotten sick from eating there.
Though their menu seems to change throughout the years, the Krystal burger is still the reason why I come here. A small square bun and beef patty, grilled with onions and mustard and then steamed (sometimes too much, sometimes not quite enough), Krystal also seem like the only place that doesn't change their fries every five or so years.
Many folks from up north who are used to White Castle do not like Krystal and that's OK, its a southern thing!
Though its much different than when I was a boy, it is still my favorite fast food. -

I've come here twice within a week and asked to pull up and wait 12 plus mins when ordering a #1 combo. Both times they came out to the car without my drink or napkins. smh we have to do better yall.

Very slow. Had to wait 5 min to order. Had to wait 5 minutes to pay. Waited 10 minutes to get order. Chick-fil-A shines next to this!

The folks running these places are ignorant! The management is not much better. I used to love the place until my entire family got food poisoning from raw chicken served at this KRYSTAL!!! Oh management was great after having my 8 year old grandsons stomach pumped they offered to reimburse us for our food. The worst part they knew about it, the manager said they got in a batch of chicken that was slightly larger and did not know how long to cook it. A chain restaurant this big should know better!!!!
